It has been widely reported that Thunder superstar Kevin Durant will miss six to eight weeks with a right foot injury that may require surgery.
An irreplaceable scorer, Durant averaged 32 points per game last season on 50.3 percent shooting from the field and 39.1 percent from three-point range over 81 regular season games. He also contributed 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

The Thunder will miss Durant badly at the start of the regular season in about 2 weeks from now and may not see him in a game until sometime in December. However, don’t feel too bad for OKC. This team has depth and while their shot at finishing first overall in the Western Conference has taken a huge hit, their ability to stay in the playoff picture should remain undoubted.
