According to Basketnews, the Raptors have asked Jonas Valanciunas to return to Toronto for a medical prior to formally offering him a long term extension to his rookie deal.
Valanciunas will briefly go over the Atlantic, the Toronto Raptors club is ready to sign the 23-year-old 211 cm tall Lithuanian to a new long-term contract. For this to happen, Valanciunas will return to Toronto for a health check.
No details about the extension were available.
Lithuania’s main concern was how this impacts the preparation of their National Team for Eurobasket 2015.
