The Toronto Raptors rookie center Lucas ‘Bebe’ Nogueira has a serious groin strain as reported by Raptors Republic.
“He’s got a very serious strain, a groin strain,” Raptors Head Coach Dwane Casey said. “It’s for real. The MRI showed us. It’s a very tedious thing. What we don’t want to do is rush him back where he re-injures it and then he’s out for another eight weeks or something. It’s something we have to be very careful with.”
Groin strains are notoriously tricky injuries to deal with and can linger for months if not treated properly. Expect Bebe to see some significant time off to ensure he gets back to 100 percent before testing it out in game action.
